Mr. Sulayman Alamuddine's residence on a property in Shimlan overlooking the Capital Beirut was the first of a series of projects in the "Old Heritage Architecture" designed and executed and supervised by Unitec Consultants.

This house was chosen as "One of Five Dream Houses in Lebanon" in 1972 by the wide circulation Monday Morning magazine.

Florentine, Islamic and Lebanese features characterize this "Heritage" Architecture mainly by the use of the typical Mandaloons, local arch-rules, fire place, decorative patterns, stone cladding, red tile roofing, etc… adding as such a local flavor to the graceful lines and imposing character of this type of Architecture.

The Ground floor houses the reception area, an oriental lounge, a master bedroom, and three bedrooms, and the basement houses a guest suite, a janitor's apartment, a multifunction lounge, a garage and some service areas.
